Guinevere & Libertad Tomas

Fiction or Nonfiction:
Fiction, for sure

What genres do you write:
Currently we both write in YA ,Fantasy, Science fiction, Multicultural Fiction and Speculative  Fiction.

Are you published?:
At the moment, we are not but if everything works out according to plan , we should have our book out by the end of December or a Mid-January Release!

Do you do anything in addition to writing?:
We haven’t done anything in addition to writing as far as our first book, The Mark of Noba, goes. However we were able to commission the artists that we wanted to work with for both the cover AND the full color companion book, that we will be offering in giveaways in the future. We were involved in the whole process in the artwork for the cover art and the artwork for the companion book, and are really proud of the outcome. We had the chance to work with some really amazing artists! As far as editing, we hired out. Editing is a process another set of eyes should handle and we are not critical enough on our work to edit properly 🙂

Where can people connect with you?:
We have two blogs, obviously this one as we consider it more of our author’s blog/writing blog and Twinja Book Reviews, where we review books that feature diverse main characters in books 🙂
Our Writing/Author Blog

Is there anything else you’d like us to know?
Stay tuned as we are planning to start a blog tour company for multicultural books. Most likely it will start out small, but if we can get enough bloggers to sign up and enough authors who are seeking blog tour organizers, it could turn into a full time deal! We are always interested in guest posts and Interviewing authors and fellow bloggers on both our writing and review blog, particularly ones interested in or writing diverse characters in Fiction!

  • I love your names! And guess what? I’m a twin, too (fraternal sister). It’s a special bond. It looks like you girls are doing things RIGHT…taking your time and using pros when necessary. Love the fact that you hired artists, as I plan to do.

I think I’ve got you covered in all venues. I notice you already follow my blog, so adding these to it will ensure that I’ll see you around the social circuit!

  • Hi Twinjas!!! I hope you do get your blog tour company up and running. I’ll be watching for that in the future. Also looking forward to your upcoming book release!

I’m doing Feature Fridays on my blog and still have Fridays open in Dec/Jan. Let me know if you’re interested in a cover reveal/book release.

    Take care,

  • Cool! Twin writers! Do you find that one of you is better at first drafting while the other is better at revising? I have enough trouble deciding what I’m going to do in a story without having to worry about sharing that responsibility with someone else.

I’ll follow you as soon as I get home from work.

  • Thanks for stopping by my blog! I guess I have to thank two of you. That is so awesome that you are partners in crime! Great meeting you. Congrats to your upcoming novels.
